TreeTrails Adventures in Mystic, CT is open to the general public from Easter to Labor Day and weekends and holidays in spring and fall. Don’t sweat it if you have another date or time in mind, as you can secure a private booking(opens in a new tab) at any time of the year! For general admission, you can book here to reserve your climbing time. We highly recommend reservations but do accept walk-ins and will try to get you up in the trees as quickly as possible.

HOW TO GET HERE

Located just off the Allyn Road Exit of I-95 at 715 Noank Ledyard Rd, Mystic, CT, we are conveniently situated just 5 minutes from downtown Mystic and 15 minutes from both Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos. Once you’re parked, you will head inside to check-in, complete your waiver if you have not already, and pick up your harness and equipment.

Park Rules & What to Wear

WHILE USING THE PARK, YOU MUST:

  • Weight limit for the park is 45lbs-265lbs. Must be able to reach 65″.
  • Consult with your physician before participating if you are pregnant, have a heart or other serious health condition, or if you are unsure of your physical ability.
  • Understand and accept the risks involved.
  • Always wear protective gloves while climbing our main park courses
  • Attend a safety and equipment briefing before entering any course.
  • Observe and follow instructions given by park staff as well as on all posted signs.
  • Always wear closed-toe/closed-heel shoes or sneakers. Do not wear sandals or flip flops.
  • Wear harnesses appropriately fitted over the outermost layer of clothing.
  • Ensure a staff member checks your harness connections throughout your visit and especially before resuming climbing after removing your harness for a break.
  • Never share your harness.
  • Meet age requirements established for each course.
  • ALWAYS have at least one carabiner attached to a marked attachment point.
  • Start with a yellow or green course.
  • Not use an element when another person is on it – one person at a time.
  • Have no more than three people on a platform at the same time.
  • Not climb or zip line if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Avoid carrying phones, cameras, or other objects in a way that they may fall or distract you or others.
  • Tie back loose hair and secure clothing or objects that can get caught in ropes or ziplines.
  • Refrain from smoking or vaping while on TreeTrails property.
  • Carry out all objects that you bring into the park, including all trash.
  • Ask for assistance if you have any questions while using the park.
  • Park management reserves the right to ask anyone in breach of these rules to leave the park. During extreme weather conditions, you may be asked to evacuate the park.

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Wear clothing that won’t hang loose or get tangled in cables or ropes.
  • Gloves are required for climbing and ziplining.
  • You can bring your own gloves or purchase from us.
  • We advise tying back long hair and removing jewelry.
  • Closed-toed shoes are required – sneakers or hiking shoes are recommended. Be sure your shoes are fully enclosed toe to heal. Wearing sandals, sports sandals, healed shoes, or Crocs can result in foot injuries and are not allowed.

Annual Membership

Enjoy unlimited use of TreeTrails Adventures Mystic with our annual memberships. When you buy your membership, you also get two “Buddy Tickets” to bring a friend during the same season. 

Reserve your climbing online whenever the park is open with no blackout times. You also receive a complimentary pair of TreeTrails gloves to wear each time you visit the park.

Special Times Ahead – Great Rates For Our Special Events

Looking for somewhere to celebrate your special day? TreeTrails Adventures plays host to a number of special events during the year to make that special day in the calendar even more memorable. We have incredible seasonal events, including events to celebrate graduations, Easter, and our armed forces! Summertime brings our 4th of July celebration as well our night climb bashes – Full Moon Howl and Glow in the Park – don’t miss out!

Private Climbs & Family Groups

OFFERED BY RESERVATION WHEN PARK IS CLOSED TO GENERAL ADMISSION

Are you looking for a unique way to celebrate a special occasion? Maybe an unusual place to pop THE question? Maybe you’re tired of being cooped up. If every day is feeling like the movie Groundhog Day, it’s time to burst out of the monotony. This 3-hour adventure includes equipment training and two hours of climbing and zipping.

We’ll also provide every climber with free gloves, a warm (or cool) beverage, and a collectible TreeTrails water bottle. We’ll top all this off with a free digital group photo to remind you of your excursion. Get outdoors, experience the forest through the trees and make lifetime memories.
