People organically bond with others climbing through our courses. Strangers become friends while yelling words of encouragement, hollering out advice, and celebrating with high fives. By choosing TreeTrails for a shared adventure, group members from sports fields, orchestra pits, classrooms, and board rooms develop a sense of camaraderie and form lasting bonds.
As part of their TreeTrails experience, some organization leaders and teachers also want an added jolt of purposeful team development or leadership training. These programs provide a framework for group members to apply insights from their shared adventure to their everyday encounters. These programs are designed to enhance communication, build trust, create collaborative partnerships or help participants recognize and leverage their diverse talents.
We partner with Empower Leadership to provide team development and leadership training programs. Empower Leadership strives to create customized programs to fit your exact needs. Activities are ground-based and interactive. There’s no doubt your group will laugh as they create shared experiences and memories.
We know life happens, sometimes forcing a change in plans. The following guidelines enable TreeTrails to reserve course time and allocate staff for your adventure. These guidelines also identify how we’ll work with you should you need to change, cancel or reschedule an outing.
- We require 20% deposit (with a minimum deposit of $150) to guarantee your reservation. Deposits can be paid through the leader portal or by contacting a group sales associate.
- Two weeks prior to your visit, please provide a final headcount and payment either online or with a group sales associate.
- If possible, please provide us with a 24 hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your climb, or if your numbers change. We can provide a gift card or account credit for changes of this nature. This credit will never expire.
- On the day of your reservation, you can add climbers subject to availability at the General Admission Rate. Please note that, on the day of your reservation, we are unable to offer compensation for no-shows.
- TreeTrails is open in all but the most extreme weather. If we are unable to open due to inclement weather, we will contact you to reschedule. In the event of thunderstorms or high winds while you are in the park, we may suspend climbing. We can extend your climbing time once we reopen, or we can compensate you with a gift card based on the amount of time you’ve climbed. This gift card will never expire.

- 5 minutes from downtown Mystic
- 15 minutes from the Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods casinos
- Drive down long driveway past open gate
- Park to the left of the white check-in trailer (bus-parking only to the right)
- Meet our staff in the white trailer for check-in and further instructions
